Aurora Energy Valley is developing a multi-site portfolio of AI, energy and digital infrastructure across Finland.

More than 1,500 hectares of land are currently in active development, with over 3,000 hectares of potential areas identified in the pipeline for future AI, data center and energy investments.

Development work is carried out in cooperation with municipalities, cities, landowners, energy sector operators, infrastructure companies, and education and research organisations.

The portfolio includes multiple sites at different stages of development, including planned AI, energy and digital infrastructure clusters in the Lohja, Haapavesi, Pihtipudas and Viitasaari regions.

Aurora Energy Valley aims to combine land, energy, expertise and investment readiness into a platform that enables international-scale AI, data center and industrial projects in Finland.

The development work also examines how recycled heat from data centers can support cities, local communities and future regional industry. At the same time, solutions are being prepared for workforce availability, education and logistics to support long-term regional growth and competitiveness.

Aurora Energy Valley is currently evaluating several areas whose long-term development potential ranges from tens of megawatts to hundreds of megawatts — and in some locations, even gigawatt-scale energy and compute infrastructure.

In parallel, the company is building a cooperation network with renewable energy developers, planning and construction partners, and international infrastructure and technology partners.

Aurora Energy Valley will release further details on projects, development partners and investment opportunities in phases throughout 2026.

“International demand for AI infrastructure, data centers and clean energy is growing rapidly. Finland's strengths include a stable operating environment, clean energy, skilled workforce and the ability to develop large-scale infrastructure platforms in long-term cooperation with municipalities, companies and regions.”
